Chianti is a rarity among Italian restaurants: very good and very inexpensive. Pasta dishes include fettuccine with scallops, smoked salmon, curry, and garlic; or try one of the veal dishes (more than a dozen are offered) or seafood specials. Chianti is located in a handsomely remodeled post-office building; the restaurant isn’t a secret, so it can be a busy and fairly crowded experience.
